Space Crafts: During the space race new space aircrafts were innovated and created. This was because the US and USSR wanted to prove their superiority with space flight this made the possibility to send the first man to the moon as well as many new achievements in space that have never happened before. This also lead way to the creation of NASA because the US needed a place to try to create better space crafts.
Importance: The importance of Space Crafts is to this day they are still being innovated for further space exploration. During the Cold War the US and USSR raced to try to see who was superior in space exploration, this lead to them trying to improve as well as create new space crafts and further improve on them. This allowed new achievements to be accomplished such as getting the first man on the moon or getting the first space craft to orbit the earth.
